With nearly 14 thousand visitors finished the International Health Fair -Meditech 2012-

• This year the fair exceeded the figures for the second version which provide visitors, exposure meters, exhibitors, buyers and countries present.

Bogota, May 2012. For four days, nearly 14,000 attendees at the International Exhibition of Health-Meditech 2012 - and a specialized exhibition-Odontotech 2012 - had the opportunity to exchange experiences with health professionals and find firsthand advice about products and services exposed in the commercial sample.

In total there were 250 exhibitors in more than 7,000 square meters of exhibition, where representatives of more than 10 countries enjoyed a large academic agenda and discussed current issues for the future of the sector in the country and the region.

Also attending the ceremony exhibition industry representative companies from as Germany, Argentina, Canada, Chile, China, Ecuador, Spain, United States, Mexico and Panama.

Meditech 2012 took place between 8 and 11 May, with the implementation of major activities for the health sector as the 10th Congress of Hospitals and Clinics, the Second International Congress of Dentistry-Odontotech 2012, the Second Latin American Meeting of Leaders Hospital and delivery of the Second National Award Safe hospital.

On the other hand, Proexport supported the event managing the call for international buyers of high-level medical and hospital sector. This process results 10 games left as assistant buyers, 62 reported events, 41 related exhibitors and businesses made for $ 102,000.

Meditech 2012 had three pavilions dedicated to Meditech and one to dentistry with Odontotech. The main themes that developed during the contest were:

• Equipment and Equipment: medical equipment, surgical and hospital staffing.
• Diagnoses: products, equipment, services and technologies for clinical and pathological analysis.
• Rehabilitation: products, equipment, services and technologies for orthopedics, rehabilitation and assistance.
• Dentistry: products, equipment, services and technologies for dentistry.
