Hospital leaders and experts will meet to discuss the health sector

• New trends in health and academic meetings during the X Congress of Hospitals and Clinics.
• With 12 countries invited, on May 11, 2012 the Second Iberoamerican Hospital leaders encounter  will be held.
• In the closure of the second day agenda the "National Award Safe Hospital" will be handed.

Bogota, May 2012. During the third version of the International Health Exhibition, MEDITECH 2012, an interesting academic agenda that includes the X Congress of Hospitals and Clinics and the Second Latin American Meeting on Health Sector Leaders will be held.

MEDITECH 2012, is an event organized by Corferias and the Colombian Association of Hospitals and Clinics - ACHC with the support of the Colombian Federation of Dentistry, which brings together in one place the most representative sample of equipment, supplies, services and technological advances in the sector health.

With an academic agenda that will have tematics like "achievements, progress and frustrations in improving patient safety," Dr. Pedro Delgado, Executive Director of the Institute for the Improvement of Health Care (IHI-Institute for Healthcare Improvement), will discuss the strategy for building new models of care for patients and health professions.

During the lecture "The Importance of Hospital Ranking s" given by Dr. Andrés Almeida, head of research project Hospitals rankings, the magazine America Economia de Chile, will talk about the average performance of hospitals in Colombia Latin American ranking.

As one of the central themes of the academic agenda the conference named "the twenty-first century ethical dilemmas in providing health services"  conducted by Father Francisco de Roux, Provincial of the Jesuits in Colombia, will be held.

In the afternoon the second day the recommendations of health policy from the perspective of the company in Colombia will be discussed. The responsible for the closure of the academic schedule will be Juan Manuel Santos, the President of the Republic.

The X Congress of Hospitals and Clinics will be held from 9 to 10 May 2012 and is organized by the ACHC. The Congress will bring together leaders, managers and administrative personnel decision-maker in the industry, around different discussion topics and relevance to the health sector development in the region.

Second Iberoamerican Meeting on Hospital industry leaders; this event will be held on May 11 during the conduct of the show and will feature guests from 12 countries from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Peru, Spain, Venezuela and Ecuador, and managers of institutions affiliated to the Colombian Association of Hospitals and Clinics.

This scenario will discuss topics of interest to the region as the hospital management trends, hospital policies and development and the challenges of integrated networks of health services in Latin America.
